Welcome to TGK Beauty, a haven for celebrating natural afro hair and embracing a vibrant, healthy lifestyle. As an independent graphic designer and digital marketer, I had the incredible opportunity to collaborate closely with a valued client to recreate the iconic logo for this remarkable brand. Allow me to share the inspiring journey we embarked upon.
The Main Logo
When my client approached me, she faced the unfortunate predicament of having lost the original files of her logo. All that remained was a faded imprint on an old flyer. Undeterred by this setback, she entrusted me with the task of recreating the logo to meet her specific requirements. Determined to assist her in revitalizing her brand, I embraced the challenge wholeheartedly and embarked on meticulously breathing life back into the logo.
TGK Beauty is more than just a brand; it's a lifestyle that exudes confidence and self-love. Specializing in the use of healthy and organic products, this remarkable brand is dedicated to nurturing and celebrating natural afro hair. But its mission extends beyond hair care—it also embraces the importance of healthy food choices and empowers individuals to create nourishing meals in the comfort of their own homes.

Other Components
Whilst the logo was obviously the main element for the TGK Beauty Brand and was the focus for my client, she was on board with the suggestion of creating separate files for other elements for the brand found within the logo. All these components were created in different file formats to be used both online and offline in a variety of branding materials. The sub mark was created to complement the logo especially to be easily recognizable and evoke the feelings of beauty and luxury associated with the TGK Beauty Brand. The flower element was extracted from the logo to represent natural beauty and is incorporated into various designs to add a unique, yet cohesive, aesthetic. See below the elements of TGK Beauty.

I meticulously recreated the logo, paying utmost attention to preserving its original essence while infusing it with renewed vibrancy. The signature colors of TGK Beauty—FFFFFF, EA5796, F9D0E1, 242424, and 0E0E0E—were carefully maintained to ensure visual consistency and a captivating brand experience that truly stands out.

Typography
Fun fact: the original font used in the old logo was Lucida Bright. However, to accommodate the client's budget, I found a suitable alternative, Antic, a free commercial version that is not only like the original logo font but captures the brand's focus on natural afro hair care and adds a playful approach to a healthy lifestyle. Montserrat was chosen to represent professionalism and modernity, reflecting the brand's commitment to high-quality organic products. The combination of Antic and Montserrat creates a captivating and cohesive visual identity for TGK Beauty.
About the YouTube Intro...
...In addition to recreating the logo, I had the distinct pleasure of crafting a captivating YouTube logo intro for TGK Beauty's channel. The animation showcases the profile of a radiant woman, her glorious afro adorned with a delicate flower.
With a graceful movement, her hair grows into view, symbolizing the growth and transformation that TGK Beauty represents. This captivating intro sets the stage for an engaging and memorable viewing experience.
Brand and Social Media Icons
Introducing the TGK Beauty brand icons: visually captivating representations that embody the essence of this remarkable brand. Created in the signature colors, these icons include social media logos (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest), a profile icon with afro hair and comb, a hand lifting a dumbbell, and an eco-friendly symbol.
Seamlessly integrating with TGK Beauty's online presence, these icons reflect the brand's commitment to natural hair care, a healthy lifestyle, and sustainability.
Mood board Inspiration
Finally, an insight into the inspiring mood board section that encapsulates the brand's essence in a visual journey. Here, you'll discover captivating images of luscious natural afro hair, celebrating its beauty and uniqueness. Vibrant and colorful fruits and organic produce grace the board, symbolizing the brand's commitment to a healthy lifestyle and nourishment from nature. Don't miss the flower element used in a pattern, a symbol of growth and rejuvenation. Thia mood board was put together to provide my client with a design direction and ignite her imagination for capturing the spirit of TGK Beauty for future designs. It also allows her to invite her audience into the journey to embrace their natural beauty and explore a holistic approach to self-care in all her online spaces.
